Feint – Your Own Way feat. Stan SB

This is a lovely DnB track released in May this year by Feint (which I’ve followed for quite a while) with powerful lyrics and male vocals. If you get the 2-track album from here, all proceeds go to Cancer Research UK. The second track features an acoustic cover by Holly Drummond.

Lyrics:

There’s nothing more that we can do here
We’ve got what we need and we don’t need their help
But we need a change or something new
A better place or something new to do

We’re setting sail
For somewhere else
There’s no need to close your eyes
And no need to say goodbye
We don’t know what it is we’ll find
But we’ll go just to ease our minds

[2x]

There’s nothing more that we can do here
We’ve got what we need and we don’t need their help
But we need a change or something new
A better place or something new to do
We’re setting sail [2x]

Kubix – Show Your Smile (feat. Nori)

This is an absolutely gorgeous liquid DnB track from the Polish producer, Kubix. I discovered it in the Coding Soundtrack room on Turntable.fm this morning. It’s a nice gentle wake-me-up track.

Mattix & Futile – Piano Daze feat. Robby Stone

Here’s a great vocal DnB track by Mattix & Futile. It’s very uplifting. Listen to it on a rainy day.

“I search the sky. For a while I find what’s here. So day after day, sunshine, blue skies. Day after day.”

The full-length song is 5:40, which you can download for free (along with Take You Back VIP) on their Facebook. All you have to do is Like their page (not hard to like them and that’s a double entendre).

Meiko – Leave The Lights On (KROT Remix)

Nice acoustic sound mixed with beautiful and delicate vocals, very similar to the style of Ellie Goulding. The DnB drives the song on. If you’re looking for some chill and refreshing DnB, pick this up. It’s free 🙂 Just go to his SoundCloud for this track.

KROT is a Russian producer who started out with eJay in 2004, then branched out into Fruity Loops and started DJing in 2006. While he is signed, he’s not well known, thus the discovery tag.

Meiko is a pop singer and released an album (acoustic) in 2008, which you can snag on iTunes.

Chase & Status – Time feat. Delilah

This is an excellent song, found by my hubby. He told me he’d think I like it as I’ve become a little bit of a DnB junkie lately. Well, he was right. I give you fair warning, the music video that goes with this is pretty shocking. In a good way, because I don’t think I’ve seen a music video bringing awareness for domestic violence and abuse. That said, you’ve been warned. You can get the album of mixes, plus the original on iTunes.
